Six steps, one written quote

How to reserve an inn room with a travel agent in Towson

You can reserve an inn room with a travel agent in Towson in six short steps. You send dates and a table size, the office asks the innkeeper which rooms are free, and you receive one written quote by email. Nothing is held until you approve that quote in writing, and the inn itself confirms the room.

Sending the form and the innkeeper's answer

Start with the request form, which takes requests at any hour. You can also call during breakfast hours, Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30 to 10:30 am Eastern. Give your dates, the table size you like, the inn you have in mind or the word suggest, and how many rooms you need.

The office then contacts the innkeeper and asks two things: which rooms are free on your nights, and what the rate is for them. The answer shapes everything that follows.

Inside the quote email

One email carries the whole offer. It names the inn, the room, the two nights, the total before tax and each state or county lodging tax by name. It also prints the inn's own deposit rules and its change rules, so you read them before you decide anything.

  • The inn and the room offered
  • Check-in and check-out dates
  • The total before tax, and the taxes by name
  • The inn's deposit and cancellation rules

Approval, the hold and who confirms

You approve by replying to the quote email. Until that reply arrives nothing is held and nothing is owed. After it, the inn holds the room in your name and takes your deposit or payment directly, under its own terms. The confirmation comes straight from the inn. The inn stay cancellation policy page explains how changes work after approval.

Two or three rooms instead of one

Tell the form how many rooms you need, and use the note to say if they should be side by side. The office asks the innkeeper whether that many rooms are free on your nights. A four-room inn may have only one or two open, while a table of nine or eleven rooms usually has more to offer, so the quote may name a different inn than you first chose.

After you check out

You pay the office nothing, before the stay or after it. Once you have left, the inn pays the office a commission for the stay, and that is how the work is paid for. Your own payments go to the inn alone.
